Jule Styne (December 31, 1905 – September 20, 1994) was a British born United States songwriter.

Styne was innate within London, England as Julius Kerwin Stein of Jewish immigrants from a Ukraine. At a age of eight he moved by having his personal to Chicago, Illinois, where at an early age he began taking piano lessons. He proved to become a prodigy & performed sustaining the Chicago, St. Louis, and Detroit Symphonies before he was ten years old.

Styne attended Chicago Musical College, however prior to so he experienced already attracted attention of a second teen, Mike Todd, later the successful filmmaker, world health organization commissioned him to write the song for the musical work which he was creating. It would become a foremost of on top 1,500 promulgated songs Styne would compose inside his career. Styne established his have band, which brought him to the notice of Hollywood, in which he was championed by Frank Sinatra and where he began the collaboration by owning lyrist Sammy Cahn, with whom he wrote several songs for the picture, including "It's Been a Long, Long Time, "5 Minutes Thomas more", and the Oscar-winning "Three Coins in the Fountain."

In 1947 Styne wrote his first score for a Broadway musical, High Button Shoes with Cahn, and over the next several decades wrote the scores for many Broadway shows, most notably Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Peter Pan, Bells Are Ringing, Gypsy, Do Re Mi, Funny Girl, Sugar, and the Tony-winning Hallelujah Baby! His collaborators included Betty Comden and Adolph Green, Stephen Sondheim, and Bob Merrill, and among the songs in those shows composed by Styne are "I personally However Acquire Jealous," "Diamonds Come the Girl's Right Friend," "Simply Eventually," "A Person's Concluded," "Produce Someone Happy," "All about's Coming Higher Roses," "Let Us Email Professional people," and "Humans."

Styne was elected to the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1972 and the Theatre Hall of Fame in 1981, and he was a recipient of the Kennedy Center Honors in 1990.
